They haven't unionized because they know if they do they will be weaker by themselves and they could get fired. To defeat the unions companies created "Flying squads". This is a group of experienced managers that were sent to restaurants wherever unions where suspected.

Th controversy was based on the system that Guantanamo was built on and the inability of president Obama to fix it due to his predecessor President Bush. Many prisoners held there were terrorist usually tortured to get information out of them. However methods used at prison has stopped and will no be applied on future prisoners.
